There’s lots to choose from at our nationally and fully accredited camps which surround the lake:

Camp Ross
Current Bears/Webelos are invited to experience their first full week of overnight camping at Goshen Scout Reservation. Our program is designed to challenge Scouts, teach new skills, and create lasting memories through unforgettable outdoor experiences.
Scouts BSA Camps
With three unique resident camp opportunities and thousands of acres of wilderness, Goshen Scout Reservation offers something for every Scout — from first-time campers to seasoned adventurers. Choose the camp that best suits your unit from a variety of choices, dining options, and merit badges.
Lenhok’sin High Adventure at Goshen Scout Reservation
Hit the Trail, whether by foot or by boat with our local High Adventure base. Your unit can chose to 1.) backpack the trails of Goshen while visiting the peaks and stopping at our outposts for a variety of adventure activities; or 2.) paddle down the James River on an adventurous Canoe Trek. For ages 13 and up.
We also have a number of specialized programs:
- Provisional Camping for individuals in Scouts BSA and Venturing
- Ranger Experience for Venturers
Located in Prince William County Virginia, Camp William B. Snyder encompasses 350-acres including a managed wetland with program areas for fishing and boating, a water slide pool, and air-conditioned dining hall. Camp Snyder is a premier camping location within Scouting America National Capital Area Council which is open year-round. Our camp has welcomed Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, and community organizations since 2006.
