In Memoriam

In April 2025, Jae Engelbrecht, our Council Commissioner, passed. Jae brought an incredible energy to everything he did. He believed in the power of Scouting, not just as a program, but as a way to shape lives. He cared deeply about our mission, and even more about the people behind it — the Scouts, the leaders, the volunteers. He always took time to listen, offer encouragement, and remind us why the work we do matters. He truly embodied the spirit of Scouting — living the Oath and Law with quiet strength and unwavering kindness.
