Are you interested in starting a new Cub Scout Pack or restarting a former Pack in your neighborhood or District to serve Cub Scout-aged youth who want a great program – but are wondering how to do it? The NCAC New Pack Tiger Team was created to help you get going.
It’s a small group of Scouters from across NCAC who have a lot of experience starting or restarting Packs so that they’ll be successful, grow, and last! We have a wealth of information, hints, tips, and plans to get a new Pack started!
The Tiger Team has two main ways to help form or restart Packs:
(1) We can assist your District’s Membership team by teaching, coaching, mentoring and advising those volunteers who are involved in starting packs as they follow a step-by-step process we’ll teach them, or
(2) We can directly engage with your parents, unit Scouters, and District volunteers to have an active, hands-on role in with Pack formation events to attract Scouts and parents.
